The journalists from various parts of the world are called by the company and they all gathered in the press. The company announces that this latest phone will be assembled by HTC in Taiwan but Google will design the phone. Initially the cost of the phone will be $500 and most of the phones will be sold over the internet and this is the Google’s first mobile phone.

Gadget-lovers are eagerly waiting for the debut of this phone and they also expect this phone may beam Apple iPhone. This smart phone is supposed to release in October of this year.

One of the advantages of this latest Google branded phone is it comes with Android operating system. This Nexus One Android operating system phone comes with five mega pixel camera with auto focus along with the LED flash.

Nexus One’s other adorable feature is it comes with proximity sensor that detect the keys while the users hold the phone near their ears so that they no need to disconnect the call with their jaw. Apart from that it also has the large touch screen display and the touch sensitive short keys are below the touch screen. The track ball in this Nexus One helps the navigation pretty easier.

World number one search engine and Internet advertising is going to  step into the market of telecom with the Android operating system, used by various brands of phones of which T-Mobile G1 pioneered it’s in October 2008. Most recently Motorola did the same with Droid handset.

Nexus One which is designed by Taiwan based manufacturer HTC, represents a significant step for Google, which now sell items directly to consumers, with their brand name without relying on telecom operators, such as Apple’s iPhone for an instance.

In the U.S., Apple’s popular smartphone works only through the AT &T, but buyers of ‘Google phone’ could choose any wireless provider, the phone will released unlocked . According to the blog that specializes in technology Gizmodo, citing information leaked, the Nexus One will cost $ 530 “unlocked” – not subject to a specific provider telephony – and $ 180 with a two-year contract with T-Mobile.

Google has been evasive about its plans to release any prosperous and rapidly expanding smart phone market, and only gave some evidence, without fully confirm their true intentions. Among experts, the reactions to Google’s eventual entry to the smart phone market were mixed.

It seems that Google wants to see if Google can do what Apple, said analyst Rob Enderle of Enderle Group in Silicon Valley, referring to the production of the iPhone, which enjoys an outstanding success since its launch in 2007.Still other analysts are skeptical and feels that It makes little sense for Google to sell phone by creating curiosity among the future buyers of nexus one.
