Valve Announces Portal 2 before the Games Developer Conference

Valve has just announced the return of its hit title. Today, Valve has finally announced the arrival of Portal 2 will take place this coming Christmas. The announcement does not offer any information about the developments with which the sequel will take place or where ever, although it is speculated to return to Aperture Science because of a promotional image which can be observed at various internet sites.

Hopefully in the coming days, facing the imminent Games Developer Conference is expanded information.

It’s now official: Portal 2 is in development at Valve Software. It’s Game Informer magazine which has spit the bit in revealing the cover of its issue of April.

Valve, the developer responsible for North American franchises like Half-Life, Team Fortress or Left 4 Dead, officially announced the development of Portal 2, as estimated launch date has been set in December 2010.

While it had already commented on some statements of their intention to launch a sequel, Till today nothing has been confirmed definitively. At the moment there is no known information, on whether it will come to other platforms than the PC. We will keep you informed to offer the first details as they are disclosed.
