Google cannot communicate with all the users personally so in order to collect the feedback Google has taken help of an online Survey and collected feedback on the users experience on Google wave. The Survey was distributed via email and a link in a help center and a tweet.

The Wavers like to ‘Wave’ as wave is a central place from where the people can communicate and collaborate easily. This is a single platform from where people can work together and also discuss with each other with the help of messages, documents sharing but number of users indicates that existing tools are not fulfilling their needs and wants more improvement with more tools for this new concept.

Many users like the collaboration and ability to extend Google wave’s capability to function through gadgets and robots.

The Wavers don’t like is the limited invitation acceptance by Google. The users feel that it is really tough to communicate and collaborate if you have no contacts. So the earnest request to Google is to offer Google Wave to large number of users instead of limited invitations.

Google wave should be integrated with Email and other existing tools and also speed enhancement is demanded. The Google is busy in organizing a team which will handle the core issues collected through the feedback and the team will put hard efforts to improve the Google Waving.

Not only this ,the Google will use this email addresses data for contacting users with news, updates, and launch information related to Google Wave and while submitting the email address here the users have to agree that Google can email you with this type of information.

Here the users are requested to enter the email address and answer three questions. The Google requires user input on Google wave and seeks your help by reporting bugs and taking surveys those who does not want to take the surveys or bugs reporting can select the option of ‘I just want Wave’

Google also wants to know what why you are looking for wave and what you want to do with it? For signing up for Google wave invitation the users has to select option on that I want to wave with My friends and family, My classmates, My co-workers, My organization or My small business.

After writing a small message to Google Wave team the users will get the Google wave invitation when it will be available.

Google will store your email address for a reasonable time after the release of Google Wave and after that will delete the collected data on email addresses.

Google previewed Wave at its annual developers conference in San Francisco. The free service won’t be available to the public until sometime later this year. Additionally, Google intends to incorporate some of Wave’s features into its other services like e-mail and documents.

Wave is not yet available to the public, though a set of APIs is available to developers—and developers seem to be pretty excited about them. On the newly created Google Wave Developer Blog, Google discusses how the APIs can be used to embed waves into your own site or write your own robots/gadgets that will work within a wave. Wave also makes use of the Google Wave Federation Protocol, allowing developers to create self-hosted instances of Wave that can communicate with each other over an open protocol without depending on Google’s servers.

As Google engineer Lars Rasmussen wrote this morning, “In Google Wave you create a wave and add people to it. Everyone on your wave can use richly formatted text, photos, gadgets, and even feeds from other sources on the Web. They can insert a reply or edit the wave directly. It’s concurrent rich-text editing, where you see on your screen nearly instantly what your fellow collaborators are typing in your wave. That means Google Wave is just as well suited for quick messages as for persistent content — it allows for both collaboration and communication. You can also use ‘playback’ to rewind the wave and see how it evolved.”

Wave was developed in Google’s Sydney office by a team led by Lars and Jens Rasmussen, brothers whose company, Where 2 Tech, was acquired by Google in 2004. They previously built Google Maps, a hit that gave them credibility with Google’s management when they asked two years ago for resources to reinvent communication – never mind their vague plans.
