People are now anxious to know about the distribution process of Nexus One and according to press reports; the U.S. giant has decided to choose one operator per country to relay its new jewel which is from yesterday onwards distributed directly by Google on its online store.
The Nexus One is now sold for $529 without contract and $ 179 with a contract T-Mobile in the United States. In Europe, the smartphone should be offered to around 370 euros without contract and at least 200 euros in the case of a package of 24 less.
The france news indicates that the mobile operator SFR could be the distributor of the new Nexus One of Google in France, exclusively. According to a source familiar with the matter, the operator SFR, a subsidiary deVivendi, is poised to become the exclusive distributor in France of Google smartphone, Nexus One, launched Tuesday in the United States. Just recall, SFR had already obtained the exclusive G1 or HTC Dream, the first mobile phone using Android, the operating system from Google.

According to the weekly Le Point, Vodafone could sell the “Superphone” Google before the end of the first quarter at a price below 200 euros for a unit purchased with a monthly package available to less than 50 euros, and engaging for two years.

Google has already signed a partnership with Britain’s Vodaphone for the marketing of the “Google phone” in Europe, and with Verizon in the U.S. Confirmation of the exclusivity of SFR in France for distribution could be made very soon.

An Android Press Gathering was held in January 5th in Mount View. There were lots or rumors about this Google Nexus One smart phone from last few weeks and most of the details about this phone were already leaked out in public but still people are anticipated about the event. This event gives them official clarifications. Let’s have short review about this event in forthcoming paragraphs.

In this event technical people discussed the growth of software and hardware. The event officially announces the entire information about Nexus one like where to buy, the exact realizing date, and its actual cost and so on. We all know that this product is the fusion of Google and HTC. CEO of HTC appeared in the stage yesterday by holding one of the Nexus one phones, which has 1GHz processor with Android 2.1 3D graphics. The resolution of this particular model is 480×800 pixels. These are the special features of this phone explained by HTC CEO in the stage.

Google also announced its hosted Web store. It says that public can buy this smart phone by visiting its official Web store http://google.com/phone. It also says that right now the phone comes in T-Mobile contract but during the spring season Vodafone or Version offers will come. Android later version gives access to install applications in SD Cards. Nexus One without two years contract costs $529 and contract with T-Mobile for two years will cost $179.

To buy this Google Nexus smart phone people should have Google account. However, it is not the big deal. In Google Nexus event they clearly said that it is very much easy to order this Nexus One phone. Google is the owner and merchant of this Nexus One smart phone but HTC is the manufacture of this phone. Public wonders how much Google pay to HTC for each unlocked devices?

These are some of the main things happened in this great Android press event. The event cleared lots of rumors and doubts about Google Nexus one that spread from past few weeks.

Since two weeks of rumors about the upcoming release of a genuine Google Phone called Nexus One. Made by HTC, the smartphone has been distributed to certain employees of the firm in California gift of year-end and has the distinction of being directly marketed by Google.

Indeed, according to recent documents retrieved by the site Gizmodo, the phone would be marketed in the U.S. for $ 530 without a plan. But Google has signed distribution agreements with mobile operator T-Mobile. Thus, for a commitment of 24 months, the smartphone will be offered $ 180. Note however that this is a relatively expensive package charged $ 79 monthly. No information was revealed about a possible sale outside the country.

In terms of hardware, the smartphone has a screen of 3.7 inches for a definition of 800×480 pixels. AMOLED technology allows for better visibility in bright light. The 5 megapixel camera is complemented by a LED flash. Under the hood we find a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1 GHz and 512 MB of RAM. The storage would be provided by 512 MB of ROM and a microSD removable memory card 4GB provided as standard. As for the operating system it is of course Android but in version 2.1.

In terms of connectivity, the device supports quad-band EDGE and 3G tri-band HSDPA but HSUPA with transfer rates up to 7.2 Mbps downstream and up to 5.76 Mbps in shipment. In addition to the inevitable Bluetooth 2.1 EDR, there are even WiFi N! Only one receiver FM transmitter fails to appeal. The Nexus One, or passion of its HTC codename should also be able to locate themselves in space by combining a chip A-GPS, digital compass and an accelerometer. It remains to know the autonomy provided by its 1400 mAh battery.

On January 5, at 48 o’clock in the Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas, Google will host an event dedicated to Android where it awaits a formal announcement and the release of the first smartphones Nexus One.

Google Inc has big plans for selling it’s under review phone Nexus One directly to the consumers. The Phone will evade the wireless operators in the early next year according to a report which was published in Wall street journal. Currently through a blog post google has informed the world that it has begun sharing a version of android based mobile device with its employees worldwide.

For manufacturing the handset, the internet giant has designed virtually the entire software
experience behind the phone from the app to the look and feel of the screen. The handset is all set to be made by Taiwan based world’s No.- smart phone manufacturer HTC Corp.4
google plans to develop hundreds of such kind of mobile phones.

Not only this Google has plans to sell the mobile phone online which will definitely prove to be a challenging situation for wireless carriers like sprint and Verizon. The upcoming phone will be a direct contender to the Apple’s iPhone.

Two year ago Google has grown itself as a High –profile player in mobile tech by launching android software. The US telecom carriers and manufacturers including Motorola have adopted the Google offered open –source software in –lieu-of putting a challenge in fron to f Apple iPhone and RIM’s BlackBerry.

The Nexus One will run on the search giant’s own android operating system. The users will have to buy cellular service for the device separately.

The upcoming mobile with the colors of Google is Nexus One which is manufactured by HTC, even if it does not appear on the device. This display on the screen a little bigger than iPhone, and a scroll wheel, and runs Android, of course, as a listing of testers (CoryOBrien) on twitter: ‘Google Phone = iPhone a little extra screen and a scroll wheel. Great touch screen, and Android

The assumptions are that the handset will be marketed in 2010 in the United States, and is not dependent on any operator.

The Nexus One will of course be in direct competition with Apple’s iPhone. It should of course not forget the BlackBerry, which are still in the race and complete the top three.

Google again shows his ability to be everywhere with ease. Android already has a good audience; a large community around the Nexus One should be formed.

A ball from the CEO of Google, which could be costly to Google Search

Google is working on an own brand – android based smartphone, it plans to sell directly to consumers as soon as next year, one that might bear the name Nexus-one.

The Wall Street Journal reported on its Web site late Saturday that Google would sell the phone directly to consumers rather than through carriers, which sell the bulk of mobile phones in the United States.

The phone is called the Nexus One and is being manufactured for Google by HTC Corporation. It runs Android, the operating system for mobile phones that Google developed.

Mario Queiroz, a Google vice president of product management, said the company had developed a “mobile lab” device that “combines innovative hardware from a partner with software that runs on Android.” According to Queiroz, Google has distributed the device to Google employees worldwide so that they could test the new technology and help improve it.

The Journal reports that Google will sell the Nexus One online and that users will have to purchase their cell service separately. That would indicate the device is an unlocked GSM handset, but it isn’t clear what carrier networks with which it will work. In the US, AT&T and T-Mobile use GSM.

The Nexus One may be an attempt by Google to borrow from the Apple playbook. Although the hardware is from HTC, rumors suggest that Google has dictated every last detail of the hardware specifications and is customizing the Android experience to be uniquely Google.

Although Google has not officially confirmed that it will sell the smartphone, the Wall Street Journal wrote that it could go on sale as early as next year.

Mere hours after Google posted a blog about an unnamed Android device that it gave its employees, the Wall Street Journal confirmed that the device will in fact be sold to consumers as the Nexus One. This is the real, actual, Google Phone, and it will be available in early 2010.

Google employees who asked not to be identified confirmed recently that the company was indeed developing new hardware and software for Android phones and coming up with new ways to get those phones into the hands of consumers, but they would not give more details. One Google employee said the new phone, which is being made by HTC, a major Taiwanese cellphone maker, was designed from the ground up by Google.

The Internet search leader may be sounding a challenge to wireless carriers such as Sprint and Verizon, as well as smartphone makers like Apple. It marks a departure for the leader in Web advertising, which has rarely sold devices directly to consumers.

The device will run Android version 2.1 and will run special software not available to current Android devices. The WSJ reports, “Google designed virtually the entire software experience behind the phone, from the applications that run on it to the look and feel of each screen.

TechCrunch says that a new phone “will be called the Google Phone” and will be sold directly by Google, independently of any wireless carrier.
