Today when you log in your Gmail Account, you will notice on the top right hand side of the corner, with red color, ‘Priority Inbox’ is written. Yes! You guessed it right. The Gmail feature which was launched recently to sort all your mails have rolled out to all the users (including Google Apps users). Click on the red color message at the top right hand corner of the Gmail account to activate the new feature.

Priority Inbox splits your inbox into three sections: “Important and unread,” “Starred” and “Everything else”. It will sort emails coming in your inbox by importance. The link below will take you to the official Gmail Priority Inbox video.

No doubt it is very time consuming to work out which messages are to be read and which ones to be left. Messages those are answered most will be put on the top.

Google’s official blog read, “Gmail has always been pretty good at filtering junk mail into the “spam” folder. In addition to spam, people get a lot of mail that isn’t outright junk but isn’t very important–bologna, or “bacn.” So we’ve evolved Gmail’s filter to address this problem and extended it to not only classify outright spam, but also to help users separate this “bologna” from the important stuff. In a way, Priority Inbox is like your personal assistant, helping you focus on the messages that matter without requiring you to set up complex rules.”

So get set and activate your Priority Inbox feature now…

Today Reuters has reported that the internet giant Google is about to launch new tool for Gmail. A New ‘Inbox Priority’ help prioritize relevant messages. Tool for Gmail should be available by next week.

Google’s new tool for Gmail aims to separate those important messages that the user does not usually read frequently.
The new tool, called “Inbox Priority”, will help users prioritize relevant messages without having to create complex rules, Google said on its official blog. The application separates the box into three sections: “Important and unread,” starred “and” other. ”

“As the mail arrives, Gmail automatically filters them on the basis of some important points. Gmail uses a variety of signals to complete what messages are important, including persons to whom the user writes more, and what messages are opened and answered,” the company said.

According to Google, the tool will be available to all Gmail users, including those who use their applications during the next week.

Looks like Google wants to stay in the news always. After Google calling phone, the search titan has uncloaked yet another feature ‘Priority Inbox’ for email service Gmail. Users will now be able to decide on the messages as to which one’s to take up first. This feature will sort important mails for you. As its name connotes, this feature allows you to sort the wheat from the chaff: in addition to its powerful spam filter, Gmail is now able to sort emails arriving in your inbox by importance. The new feature which is in its beta version, sorts your incoming e-mail into three sections, “important and unread,” “starred,” and “everything else.”

Google’s official blog read, It’s time-consuming to figure out what needs to be read and what needs a reply. Today, we’re happy to introduce Priority Inbox (in beta)—an experimental new way of taking on information overload in Gmail.” “Priority Inbox will be rolling out to all Gmail users, including those of you who use Google Apps, over the next week or so.”

The most important messages, i.e. those that are answered most and are in regular contact will be put in a prominent place. They will be displayed at the top of the inbox while others will be displayed below.

Priority Inbox can also teach marking a message as important or not important making you understand your preferences.

The new folder will appear in the menu above the Inbox. According to Google, the work on the new chip was carried out for 18 months and now at last it had been brought to the mass implementation.

The mail server of Google, has processed over one million calls during its first 24 hours. The new phone service through Gmail, the mail server of Google, has processed over one million calls during the first 24 hours that of operating. The information has announced by the U.S. company today through its Twitter account, in which company thanked the good reception given by users to the new application that lets you use Gmail chat system to make calls to landlines and mobiles.
On Wednesday, Google reported the launch of this new application, which is a fierce competition to Skype, which dominates the market for phone calls over the Internet. The new service allows free calls in the U.S. and Canada and offers reduced rates to numbers of other countries.

“We work so that the fees are really cheap for calls to the United Kingdom, France, Germany, China, Japan and many other countries, where they charge as little as two cents per minute,” said Robin Schriebman, one of the engineers company’s software in the Google Blog.

The company, which claims to have 200 million users of its email service, declined to offer, a date guidance for users outside the United States, but said that “works to make it available more widely” .

Gmail offers earlier a service that allows its users to chat with each other with calls and video conferencing between computers, but until now there was no opportunity to communicate with mobile phones or fixed ground and Skype was catering such service.

Calls in the U.S. and Canada will be free at least for the remainder of the year, and charged a very low-even 2 cents per minute, to communicate with Britain, France, Germany, China, Japan and other countries, Google said. This is a new step, logical if we recall the features of Google Talk and Google Voice.

The Google system calls will be integrated into the left side of Gmail, contacts within the chat. The users will have the option to make calls directly to another customer, a traditional phone or mobile. The Google service makes face to face with Skype, the leader in the market for VoIP services, with 590 million users worldwide.

CNET has reported that Google is testing voice call in Gmail. In addition to instant messaging and voice chat, chat box Gmail will soon offer its users the opportunity to make and receive free calls to U.S. and Canada. Users would be able to make phone calls directly from their mail box. Google is trying out such a Web-based service. Gmail would develop into a communication tool via mail out.

It is yet unclear whether the unidentified feature would be incorporated with your Google Voice account, as you will not require a Google Voice phone number to use the new service. This new service would let you place free phone calls to the U.S. and Canada.

The voice call interface, which will be accessible from the Google Chat window, is similar to that of Google Voice, indicating that Google might look to incorporate its internet telephony services to offer users more than just e-mail on its Gmail service.

This would give tough competition to Skype. Google lately acquired VoIP provider Gizmo5 and VoIP codec developer Global IP solutions. CNET says that IP telephony service is the result of the purchase last year by Google to society Gizmo5, which specializes in IP telephony.

The ‘lifting’ affects the image of email service from Google, the speed of loading and contact management. The postmaster general screen has also changed, for all users. The google Gmail is now clear, load faster, and allows much more personalized labels.

Last week the first pictures were leaked and began the cascade of comments and speculations. GMail has explained on its official blog. Change and facilitate the management of contacts and change part of the mail interface. Just contact management is one of the users’ favorite applications. As happened with cell phone in the agenda. People do not need to know someone’s email, but remember its name.

New features of Google Mail, one that began with the defendants and unwanted invitations to prove it, are keyboard shortcuts, ability to sort contacts by name, new labels, possibility of undoing the changes and inclusion of notes on a contact much more space.

This improvement in the management of mail arrives just when Google got criticism for how much they know about each user’s social circle. Just visit the page where it says and review particularly surprising result of secondary routes. Google is capable of knowing the extent of contact you have with someone and what makes web tool.
