Google Chrome OS netbook specs are out, specs comes from some unnamed source as reported via IBTimes. There is no official Google stamps over these specs so we can categories them under live humors. But no doubt these specs if true are as such to be liked by one and all.

The Google netbook will engage chipset from Nvidia’s Tegra line and powered by ARM CPU instead of widely used Intel. ARM’s CPU performs better than Intel Atom with comparatively less power consumption.

Very obvious the netbooks will run on Chrome OS, which itself is reporting good reviews. This is Google netbook we are talking about so it will reportedly also come with preinstalled Google apps such as Google Map, Gmail, Google Docs, Google Calender and Google Search by Voice.

Rumored specs of Google netbook include a 10.1-inch TFT HD-ready multi-touch display. It is also reported in IBTimes that it would come with 64GB SSD and not those HDD.

Some other features includes a 2 GB RAM with Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth, Ethernet Port, USB ports, webcam, 3.5 mm audio jack, multi card readers and much more.

To see the fully-fledged Google netbook we may have to wait for 2010 holiday season when it is expected that Google will launch the product.

So we talked about the humored specs and expected release date, now let’s have a look at the market rumor for this Google netbook’s price tag. Present market rumors says “the Google netbook will be subsidised (the device will reportedly sport a sub-$300 price tag) and sold directly to consumers by Google”.

Some also expects Google to sell the product as a rival to Nokia Booklet 3G. According to them, Google will tie up with one or more network operators in countries like US to sell the netbook as part of a bundled 3G plan.

Google Map Navigation (Beta) now available for Android 1.6 and higher.

Google launched its Google Map Navigation Beta for Android 2.0 a few weeks ago. The latest Android had the compatibility with Google Map Navigation but those Android lovers who had been using the platform since earlier would have felt left out kind of without Google Map Navigation in their older Androids but Google didn’t let them be upset for long, to gift them happiness on the Thanksgiving occasion Google has presented them with Google Map Navigation for Android 1.6 aka Donut and higher. Yes now most of the Android powered Smartphones will guide users to their destinations in US.

With the launch of Google Map Navigation it claimed to be a tough competitor to pre existing leaders of PNDs like Garnim and TomTom and now it has expanded its availability from Android 2.0 to Android 1.6.

Google Map Navigation Beta the internet -connected GPS system brings voice guidance and automatic rerouting, smartphone. Advantaging Google search (verbal or typed) to enter destinations, latest maps, business and traffic data; satellite and Street View imagery along route over the phone’s data connection the Google Map Navigation service brings important benefits to GPS navigation users to become a well equipped road warriors.

Another feature added to this launch is the new Layers feature. This feature allows users to overlay geographical information on the map. View My Maps, transit lines, Wikipedia articles about places, and more.

this release lets you create a shortcut that allow users to launch navigation and start getting guidance to specified place of that shortcut form your present location with a single touch.

So what are you waiting for all you have to do to access Google Map Navigation on Android 1.6 is just download an updated version of Google Maps from Android Market to use Navigation.

It is currently available in the United States.

A little sad part of the news is that Google Map Navigation Beta for Android 1.6 is less featured. Like the ability to use the “navigate to” voice command id missing.

Palm Pixi is officially launched on Sprint. Web OS based Pixi is a non-sliding QWERTY candybar phone.

Powered with web OS Pixi could simultaneously run multiple applications, allows emailing and integrates instant messaging, MMS and SMS and allows users to visit non-mobile websites, with full scrolling and zooming capabilities.

Loaded with 8 GB built-in storage it integrates GPS receiver and a 3G mobile broadbrand standard EV-DO.

Pixi lacks in:
•	No video recording
•	No wi-fi
•	Limited App catalog

Pixi comes on Sprint with a price tag of $100 with a two-year service contract and $100 mail-in rebate.

Palm Pixi might not be much anticipated one but it still could be a desired less expensive cellphone involving other features like Palm Synergy, an exposed keyboard and a vivid multitouch screen, along with compatibility with Touchstone connectionless charging and Wireless connectivity with Bluetooth 2.1 which gives it a bit more functionality without diving into a more expensive and more complex smartphone.

Loaded with multi-touch but Google Map Navigation is skimmed off from Milestone.

Motorola named MILESTONE to the GSM version of Verizon Droid (CDMA) in Germany. Motorola announced Droid with a hope to be a savior to its dropping graph and now in order to earn more customers globally it was sure they might be hooking with some other carriers over other locations after its launch announcement with Verizon and yes Motorola has made alive Droid on its German site cognomen as MILESTONE.

Milestone slightly differs with its CDMA Droid version. Looking for a positive feature Milestone has Multi-touch built-in UI. This enables users of German GSM version to ZOOM in BY PULLING with two fingers. On the contrary US version is devoid of Multi-touch feature although Android 2.0 OS can support it.

Though Milestone operating on Android 2.0 supports GOOGLE search, android Market as well as Google Marketplace, Gmail and GTalk but what may keep him little dull is unavailability of Google’s latest smartphone feature Google Map Navigation (offered free of cost) which gives Droid an exceptional feature over others.

Milestone can still navigate you; it knows the world and helps to sail – with every step through its trail navigational application MotoNove. New Motonove features 3D Landmarks, easy search, Lane Guidance, point of interest; every feature will be available on a trial basis for 60 days as the Motorola site says. It has 8GB MicroSD card preloaded with maps for Western Europe included.

“Impressive online experiences, sharper pictures, and videos that inspire” is how Motorola describes its Milestone.

Featuring same as Droid, it offers Business and personal e-mails to be put into a clearly organized inbox and With the QWERTY keyboard or a virtual one it’s easy and quick to reply for any message.

Its Multimedia Station turns Milestone into a multimedia center where you can listen to music, view photos and videos, see the time and weather.
Dimensions: Weighting 165 g (6 oz.) ,measuring 60.00 x 115.80 x 13.70mm (2.4 x 4.6 x 0.5 inches) with a display size of 3.7 “, WVGA (480 pixels x 854 widescreen), 16:9; Milestone has 5-MP camera with zoom, autofocus, flash and image stabilization is ideal for capturing images and video sequences in great quality.

The device can be purchased from either O2 or Vodafone or The Phone House.

Pricing as declared by O2 is 481€ with 1€Deposit and 20 € Montreal payment of 24 months

The long dominated market of turn-by-turn navigation form Garnim and TomTom is finally intruded by Google with the launch of its Google Map Navigation for Android 2.0. The announcement made on Wednesday followed a drop in the share markets of both the PND’s manufactures.
Google described Google Maps Navigation (Beta) for Android 2.0 devices as an extension to its ‘Google Maps for mobile’ service. This phone-based navigation includes almost everything that any Road Warriors would like to be embedded in their GPS navigation system. One of the most enticing bite of the news it that it is free and does not cost any extra penny for its navigational feature.

One of the stared features of the new Google Map Navigation for Android 2.0 is that it was built from the ground up to take advantage of phone’s Internet connection, which helps in a much-diversified ways.
