The largest social network, Facebook is likely to defer its initial public offering, IPO until 2012 to scale up the company, including the number of users and revenues, reported Bloomberg referring to informed sources.

Another year of growth will benefit the company image in the run-up to IPO, even if the pace is slow. In addition, the founder and current Director General Facebook 26-year old Mark Zuckerberg will call for extra time to brace oneself for work in conditions of liability to shareholders, experts say. Previously it was assumed that Facebook will be released to the stock exchange in 2011.

Mark Zuckerberg said, “At some point along the path, I think it’ll make sense to have an IPO. But we’re not running the company to do that. We’re running the company to serve more people.”

The online shopping site Amazon has brought about a tool that connects the user’s accounts to their social networking account on Facebook. The move is initiated by the company in order to bring better recommendations of product to the regular buyers of the site.

This is first of kinds for the site that till now used only a person’s purchasing history on its own site as the basis of its recommendations for future shoppings.

But the users need no worry about any of the privacy issues as Amazon has assured that the user’s buying history will not be shared with their friends on Facebook and will be kept a secret. Neither will user’s friends will have to get hassled with any marketing messages. The teaming will work as the e-commerce site will get a feed of all the pages etc that a person has said as ‘like’ on their own profile and serve more tailored recommendations based on those preferences or a person’s choice.

The two sites can be very easily linked together. All a person needs to do for it is to go to the site’s ‘Recommendations’ tab, when he or she logs on to their Amazon account, there one can easily link up the two accounts. Doing so they can take the benefits of being served product recommendations based on their Facebook profile information and also of their friend’s.

Once the two accounts are linked, a user will be directed to a dedicated Amazon Facebook page, which will show your ‘likes’ and any of your friend’s ‘likes’ who have also connected their two accounts.

And its not just the linking up for better shopping, the site will also let users browse upcoming birthdays of their friends and suggest possible presents based on their profile information. Moreover the presents can be bought online itself from the recommendations list further simplifying things at the same time keeping family and friends happy.

Not just this the collaboration also gives us an opportunity to make new friends, Amazon believes that this arrangement will help its customers find new friends while shopping on its website. The people of same interests can be found by the knowing who all other people have interest similar in shopping as yours.

In June, rumors began circulating that Google is preparing its own social network, which would be called Google Me, which would become a direct competitor to Facebook. However, the online giant opted not to make any statements.

The executive director of megabuscador in England, Matt Brittin, although not confirm or deny the project, hinted that they look forward to this new phenomenon that changed the way people interact over the Web, and soon submit any news related to this topic.

According to the executive, social networks are a phenomenon that is with us to stay. I think what you will see is that the Internet is increasingly a social place, and that the socializing is increasing in the environment of these platforms.

From their point of view, yet “there is enough space to compete with Facebook’s seemingly untouchable.” People are waiting to be seen how this confrontation between two of the most popular Web will give them the best in social networking .

Google is preparing a rival to Facebook. Google has plans to launch a social network similar to Facebook and called Google Me Just a rumor for now. According to a renowned expert Kevin Rose, he published in Twitter with a link to a very reliable source, the Internet giant is preparing a new social service called Google Me, which will be a direct competitor to the famous social network Facebook. Moreover, the launch of this service may be in the near future.

This tool, called “Google Me” could be based on “Google Profiles”, which already exist, and / or Orkut, Google’s social network, also in line for years, and is very popular in some countries like Brazil and India.

A new adventure in the field of social networks still seems amazing from Google after the failure on Orkut, if not very popular in some countries like Brazil and the launch of Google Buzz (asset- Gmail) that has been largely penalized by a controversy over respect for privacy. Earlier, the corporation that has already presented a solution for social networks called Google Buzz, integrated with Gmail and allows you to distribute among their friends and other users’ posts with links, photos and video clips. However, this tool has not gained wide popularity.

Currently, Google has given no information about this rumor of 140 characters. If it proves correct, it would mean a return to the Mountain View company in the world of social networks, which has already experimented with Orkut, launched in January 2004. The service is now very popular in some countries, like Brazil and India, but could never overtake Facebook in terms of number of users. Facebook has 450 million users and is soon going to have 500.

Twitter-related data with very similar, that is, heavy users tend to spend more on online shopping.

This data reveals that social network users are more popular than general Internet users in the network may make the fact that retailers consumers pay more attention to the value of social media, which explains why Facebook suddenly attracted the attention of many advertisers.

Social networks are now core of activities for many net users. Yahoo has shared its pie with Facebook and other services later this year. The other important change announced by Yahoo! Is the rebranding of Profiles, a centralized identity management service and personal activities scattered throughout the network of Sunnyvale that is now called Pulse, and incorporate the possibility of use of further controlson applications identities and the third related to Yahoo! – starting of course from your registered on Facebook.

Both companies Yahoo and facebook rely on extensive interactions between their services. The newsfeed is the social network and visible throughout the portal (such as Yahoo Mail) and created content sites on Yahoo (News, Sports, Entertainment, Yahoo TV, Yahoo! Movie and so on ) will be easily shared and commented on the social network without leaving the portal.

Pulse with Yahoo! try to play the same, risky gamble launched by Google for Buzz, the social networking service originally built into Gmail that did so much to discuss because of the reckless policies of management of identities and “follower” of users, and both have cost the already shaky image of Mountain View in terms of privacy and confidentiality of the netizen.

Yahoo Pulse aims to make the portal the center of social activities of the user starting with Facebook. Others will follow this year, according to the statement. The new options allow users to do a real crossover between the services of Yahoo and the Facebook profile, integrating seamlessly to one over the other and vice versa. The result of this integration will be seen for example in the ability to view status updates on FB personal homepage and webmail Yahoo!, But on Facebook you can easily share the content posted on photo-sharing service Flickr (acquired by Yahoo ! 2005).

Security settings for sending upstream

Another important issue is of privacy. A menu will define who will see the content sent from the service. A mobile Web version is also developed. This new wave of social Yahoo is expected in the coming days, according to the famous site Mashable. It will come into direct competition with other aggregators like Threadsy or software TweetDeck and Seesmic.T he agreement with Facebook not only give users a better accessibility of both services, but will allow Yahoo! to significantly increase the user traffic on their sites, for information remember that fact when Facebook is a community of more than 400 million people.
