Amazon has introduced Kindle DX which has surface 2.5 times higher than the old Kindle, we henceforth mean the infamous nickname of “6″ Kindle. It features the 9.7-inch screen of the Kindle DX.

“The impressive display of DX offer richer graphics, waving a palette that pulls about 16 shades of gray. Kindle DX transcendence does not end here, it has 3.3 GB of storage, equivalent to 3000 digitized books.

The earlier “6″ Kindle contained only 2 GB and the new version with all these improvements have a price of $489. Amazon has sold out the Kindle earlier version on Christmas sale and really Amazon’s strategy was a little big they let the public throw themselves for the occasion, on models already obsolete. It seems that the strategy worked well. As usual, no figures were given. but it has been suggested that sales of the Kindle have exceeded those of the iPod Touch. This would represent 750 to 900,000 units sold in the last quarter of 2009. The reader is white, according to Amazon, became the bestselling book on his site, which has yet sold products.
