Firefox Mobile is not yet available in final release, but Mozilla has found another way to land in the iPhone and iPod Touch as it submitted application Firefox Home to Apple’s online store.
While the Mozilla Foundation denies it wants to develop a browser for an iPhone, it has just submitted the Home Firefox application for entry in App Store. Firefox Home is a free application that allows access to your Firefox desktop history, bookmarks and open tabs on your iPhone.”
In other words, data from Firefox on your computer is synced to the cloud after that Firefox Home is able to access some of that information, and open it in Mobile Safari.
To use this application users have to install Firefox sync on their PCS or laptops. Right now Mozilla is waiting for apple approval or rejection on this wonderful application. Hopefully apple will approve it because it is not a browser that will compete with safari and if at all it belongs to same league than also apple has given approval to opera mini so there is no logic to reject this great application.
