Apple is field-testing a new generation iPhone, Pandav Inc. an iPhone development firm found some usage record for a new iPhone 3.1, which is yet unreleased.
To be recalled, at present the last iPhone released has an identification number as iPhone 2.1 which is the iPhone 3GS. MacRumors was the first getting the report from Pandav that the usage was spotted for the iBART app. iBART is an apps used as a public transportation guide for the San Francisco train system.
Though it’s good news and we can think of 4G to make its appearance as the next powerful update in iPhone series but it may still take many months as last time Apple launched its 3GS after 8 months when they were spotted testing it.
But there can be chances, if Droid keeps spreading its wings Apple could launch its 4G earlier to give a good show against android powered handset.
